چکیده

N this project, new architectures in the field of imaging radiometry are developed. A key component in such radiometers is the receiver front-end. The project concentrates on the design of innovative receiver structures that are based on the so-called self-oscillating mixing technique. Self-oscillating mixers are an excellent choice for low-cost modern receiver architectures, because both the oscillating source and the mixer are combined in one single device. By combining many receivers to an array, one can design an imaging radiometer. It finds application in biomedical imaging, automotive radar, aeronautical navigation, surface sensing, and many more fields. This project is planned to be developed in the region of millimetre-waves, especially at 94 GHz, which makes the design very challenging due to the high frequency. I
